As part of its mission to promote economic attractiveness and territorial diplomacy, AWS Attractivité & Diplomatie Économique structures and supports various types of partnerships aligned with the needs and priorities of African countries.
Direct equity participation in infrastructure, energy, water/sanitation, or industrial projects. These partnerships aim to fill the investment gap while sharing risks with the private sector through co-financing or thematic investment funds.
Co-development of solutions, transfer of know-how, and support for local operators. These partnerships focus on the areas of energy, infrastructure, industrial zones, and water. They promote technical autonomy and the development of local skills.
Setting up and managing long-term projects between the government and private actors for the construction, operation, and transfer of assets. These models are currently favored in Cameroon and Congo for energy, road, and urban projects.
Strategic support for governments and public institutions in establishing regulatory frameworks, special economic zones, and investment incentive mechanisms. Objective: to create an attractive, transparent, and sustainable environment.
Development of regional cooperation and sectoral alliances to strengthen local value chains, facilitate access to international markets, and stimulate intra-African trade. These partnerships support the upgrading of African production.
AWS Attractivité & Diplomatie coordinated a business mission between European companies and African institutions focusing on energy, agribusiness, and infrastructure. The objective: to promote cross-investment and industrial cooperation. Thanks to diplomatic preparation, targeted B2B meetings, and consultation between chambers of commerce, the mission resulted in the creation of a joint public-private working group and several joint feasibility studies.
As part of Africa's economic opening, AWS has supported several official missions aimed at promoting structural projects to investors in Central Europe. Bilateral forums and presentation sessions have helped to raise the profile of participating countries, position their priority projects, and lay the foundations for new industrial and institutional cooperation.
AWS conducted an economic diplomacy initiative that included due diligence, regulatory assessment, and networking with international business networks. This approach made it possible to secure partnerships, identify reliable players, and create a climate of trust conducive to the signing of lasting agreements between investors and public decision-makers.
